Judge(s) (at a glance) will determine whether or not your images have an immediate and compelling visual impact. Strong images are typically easy for the viewer to understand, make use of a clear subject (or point of interest), and consider potentially distracting visual elements.

Artistic Creativity, Technical and Postproduction

Judges will then assess each image individually, and as an overall body to score artistic merit, technical execution, and postproduction work as it relates to the skills and knowledge criteria.

Judges also like to see skills consistency – so make every image count!

Format and Output versions of the final digital images will be required; each in jpeg format.

Output #1 – High Resolution Images (ready for printing):

1. Save your images in a digital folder titled with your “last name”, and the words “skills” (Ie : smith skills).

Output #2 - 2. Best Image labelled “last name best” /20

As the rules state, there are no ties. If the score is tied after the contest, the creativity elements will be used as the tie breaker.
